What is CrossFit?

A varied, structured program where you will build strength, get fit, learn new skills and have a great time! Expect everything from lifting, gymnastics/ bodyweight movements and CV.

All can be modified to suit your experience and fitness level. The coach will guide you through each portion of the program step-by-step, ensuring you understand how to adjust to suit your ability to get the correct stimulus of the session.

A CrossFit session will include any of the following; weightlifting/strength work, cardio, gymnastics and skill elements. These movements can be combined into one workout that is performed at high intensity amongst a supportive community!

These movements are actions that you perform in your day-to-day life, like squatting, pulling, pushing etc. Many workouts feature variations of squats, push-ups, pull ups, and weight lifting. The workout may utilize different equipment to accomplish this, including barbells, kettle bells, rowers and bikes, medicine balls, speed ropes, rings and plyo boxes.

Don’t worry if you have never done anything like this before…

Our Coaches will guide you on your first session and beyond. If you are brand new to this sort of thing, a 1-1 Fundamentals session is highly recommended with Lauren.
