LAUREN CHANDLER

(Owner, PT and Coach at CrossFit Habitat)

Lauren is a highly experienced PT, who started her own self employed business in 2016. She has worked with all sorts of clients; from athletes to the general population, she can help and push you in the right direction.

Lauren live’s and breathe’s health and fitness, and most importantly, practices what she preaches. “I love Personal Training which is why my clients love their sessions. I can pass on my passion to others and develop a good client/trainer relationship”. This enables Lauren to understand the client and help them as much as possible.

She has worked with clients who have begun their training at a weight of 200kg/28st, right down to clients beginning their training, weighing just 50kg/8st. Ages 16-65, Lauren can accommodate to everyone's needs.

 “When I started training with Lauren I had a couple of physical impairments that were causing me a lot of frustration - lower back pain and a hernia - but Lauren put together a program which was sympathic to the hernia while also working alongside the in house sports therapist to permanently resolve the cause of my long term back pain. I'm just about to have surgery on the hernia and will absolutely be back training with her as soon as I'm recovered. A professional service tailored to the specific needs of the individual client, highly recommend.”

 WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE YOU BEGIN PT?

Your first meeting will be a comprehensive physical assessment. This takes no longer than 45 mins, gives us a chance to meet face to face and the opportunity to discuss exactly what you want to achieve from Personal Training. You will also obtain valuable information about your body. 

Assessment included:

  • Mobility and flexibility testing

  • Cardiovascular fitness test

  • Muscle strength and endurance test

  • Posture analysis

  • Core Function testing

  • Nutrition evaluation
